Police Superintendent RODERICK DEVILLES MARIANO, the current Regional Training Director of the National Capital Region Training Center, born in Tondo, Manila on December 16, 1969, was a graduate of Philippine National Police Academy. After which, he joined the PNP Special Action Force Training group from May to August of 1995. On September 1995, then a young Police Inspector, he became a member of Police Regional Office 1 as a platoon leader of the Regional Mobile Force until he became the Commanding Officer of the Headquarters Company of the Regional Mobile Group in the same region in 1997. Then, on July 16, 1997 he was assigned in National Capital Region Police Office. He had been assigned to different districts of NCRPO and the Regional Security. His last assignment before he became the Regional Training Director of the NCRTC was Chief DOD/D3.

Police Superintendent Mariano is a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila before he entered the PNPA. He then took up Bachelor of Law from the same university in 2003, Master of Business Administration in 2005 and Master in Public Administration in 2006.

In addition, the NCRTC RTD has earned various medals from his accomplishments throughout his career,: a PNP Efficiency Medal, several Medalya ng Kasanayan, Medalya ng Kadakilaan, Medalya ng Papuri, Philippine Presidential Unit Citation Badge, among many other awards and commendations.

He is now leading the NCRTC towards being the best and primary training grounds for better police officers.
