NCRTC – On August 16, 2016 (Tuesday) a harmonization meeting with the Chief of Police (COPs), Station Commanders and Chiefs of District Special Training Units (C, DSTUs)-NCR was presided by RTD, NCRTC in close coordination with the Training Manager, Regional Special Training Unit (RSTU) – NCR at NCRTC Multi-Purpose Hall, Camp Bagong Diwa, Bicutan, Taguig City at around 9:00 AM.
After evaluating the results of the Evaluation Survey conducted by NCRTC, a harmonization meeting was initiated by PSUPT RODERICK DEVILLES MARIANO, RTD, NCRTC, in coordination with PSUPT PAMELA D BALASABAS, Training Manager of RSTU-NCR. The meeting centered on the matters pertaining to the smooth conduct of the five (5) months Field Training Exercises (FTX) of Police Trainees at the different Police Districts of NCRPO. The meeting was made possible after PCSUPT OSCAR D ALBAYALDE, Acting Regional Director of NCRPO approved the request of NCRTC on the availability of all Chief of Police or their authorized representatives, Station Commanders and Chiefs of DSTUs of NCRPO on the conduct of the said meeting.
Among the topic discussed in the said meeting were the new guidelines in the conduct of FTX pursuant to the Revised 2016 NPTI Training Guide; the problems encountered by police trainees during the FTX; and the result of the evaluation survey conducted by NCRTC. After the formal briefing of RTD, NCRTC and TM, RSTU-NCR, an open forum was conducted wherein the participants were requested to voice out the problems they encountered during the conduct of FTX.
